Description
This Columbian Ground Squirrel was just casually relaxing on this rock, looking like he was about to order a beer. The Columbian Ground Squirrel, at about 30 cm in length, not counting his tail, is large for a squirrel and is easily mistaken for one of the larger burrowing rodents. Taken near the Hummingbird Lodge at Whitewater Mountain Resort, British Columbia
